Samsung, unable to pinpoint the Note 7 problem has terminated production fully.
The Note 7 will no longer be produced or marketed. With many Galaxy Note 7’s exploding over the last month, Samsung issued a recall and an update that wouldn’t allow the device to charge part a certain point in order to control failure rates. Another shipment of Note 7’s has now launched and the problem persists – faulty batteries causing major device failures including catching fire and exploding. Market shares are falling and we expect to see the otherwise trustworthy brand name be hurt with trust issues following future releases of devices.
You can trade in your device for a refund or Samsung’s Galaxy S7.
